The Best Cruelty Free & Vegan Skin Care Brands
I have been seeing a trend asking for the best cruelty free & Vegan Skin care brands. I’ve been doing the best actually no that’s a lie I keep forgetting to mention cruelty-free status when I talk about brands and my reviews of them whether I support them or not.
I’ve seen a lot of people asking what my personal favorite brands are that are cruelty-free. So if you are someone that shops exclusively cruelty-free, you have options to choose from, and well a lot. I would say most of the brands that I talk about are cruelty-free I thought it would be good to make a post so that you guys have no doubt in your mind as to whether or not the brand you’re supporting is cruelty-free because I know this is something that’s important to a lot of you and rightfully so.
A lot of these brands are vegan as well so if any of you are vegan, I’ll be sure to state whether or not the brand is so that you know if you can also shop from them as well. So I’m going to be going through my favorite drugstore online brands and luxury price point skincare brands that are cruelty-free and then my favorite product from each of the brands too.
Hopefully, you have like a little bit of a leg up so that you don’t have to go scouring through all the different products that they have because inevitably; I do want you guys to save money and not have to buy an of the skincare products that end up not working so hopefully sharing some of my favorite products will help make it just a little bit easier for you so let’s get into it.

Drugstore Products
Let’s first start with drugstore which honestly guys are surprisingly really difficult to find drugstore brands that are cruelty-free. I don’t know why that’s the case and if they are cruelty-free, they’re filled with a bunch of fragrance essential oils, alcohol, you know all that stuff. Drugstore brands really need to step up.
Versed Skin Care
So I really only have two recommendations, first recommendation is Versed skincare which is slowly becoming one of my favorite drugstore brands on the market. The price point of the products is right about ten to fifteen dollars each. They have a lot of fragrance-free products and they are vegan as well my favorite product from them is their Dew Point Moisturizing Gel Cream. This one’s so nice because it’s a lightweight gel that absorbs into the skin really easily it’s formulated with squalane and green tea extract.
Elf Skin Care
Then the other skincare brand is Elf, good old elf skincare. Elf is slowly starting to release skincare that I’m like wow I’m actually really impressed by that but fortunately at one time they weren’t cruelty-free and they weren’t vegan but now they have confirmed that they are in fact cruelty-free and vegan.
My favorite product further than their Happy Hydration Cream is balm hemp seed oil is the second ingredient which is one of the most impressive concentrations of hemp seed oil that I have ever seen in my life. I’m hoping that they’ll come out with a lot more fragrance-free options as well.
Now moving on to the best cruelty-free online brands. Now when I say online, I mean it’s really hard to find like anywhere. They may be in a few stores around but mostly just online.
The first is, of course, Deciem, the company that owns The Ordinary. They actually own a bunch of skincare companies that I’m currently trying out right now but my personal favorite from them is ordinary and they are both cruelty-free and vegan and really focused on sustainability and ethics.
This is why they are one of my favorite brands. As for my favorite product from them honestly, there are just too many that I love but I’d probably have to say AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
Krave Beauty
This one is an amazing face mask that you leave on for 10 minutes and it will literally erase every imperfection. Being insane tons of people have been buying it because it got popular on tick-tock.
Well, worth behind another great online brand is Krave Beauty, started by another skincare YouTuber that some of you guys may know Lea Elui. She is incredible and the brand embodies so many valuable ethics that are really important to me but yes they are both cruelty-free and vegan and my favorite product from them is The Great Barrier Relief.
One of my favorite serums of all time just because it really helps to just repair the skin soothe redness and sensitivity brighten any dark spots on the face it’s just an incredible product.
Paula’s Choice
Paula’s Choice is another incredible online skincare brand that I’m slowly trying more of their products out of. I don’t know why it’s taking me so long but I’m making my way through yes awesome brand that’s also an amazing resource for skin care education.
My favorite product from them is their 2% DHA Exfoliating Solution incredible the only product I have ever found that literally makes your pores look smaller. Something I still cannot understand because that is anatomically impossible.
Kinship
I highly recommend you guys look into another brand called Kinship. They’re an awesome brand they’re not as popular as other brands but my favorite product for them is their Supermello Gel Cream. It’s hydrating but lightweight and it really gives you that glow.
Now some of you guys may be interested in kinship as well because one thing I love that they do and their plastic packaging from their bottles is collected ocean plastic from around the world. Then even further you can scan the code on the bottom to find out exactly where the trash is made your product was collected from around the world.
So cool and definitely in line with what a lot of people are looking for. When they try to look for cruelty-free skincare so I highly recommend checking them out.
Luxury Skin Care
Then for luxury skincare which is some of the more high-end products that you usually find at Sephora and maybe some at Ulta.
Beginning one First Aid Beauty one of my favorite skincare brands just for the awesome selection of fragrance-free and high-quality products that they have their coconut water cream is incredible super lightweight great for anyone who has oily skin but really just like blurs the skin and makes it look so nice.
I mean the reason why I did start using them is both cruelty-free and vegan. One some of the best friends I’ve ever discovered in my life because not only do they embody these values but they’re also hyper-focused on sustainability and minimalism and reducing waste.
Youth To The People
Youth To The People is good. My favorite product from them is their Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser. It’s just really that good and the number of people I’ve recommended this to and they said that it changed their life. I’m just like me too. This is why I just keep recommending it.
Biossance
Biossance is another awesome company that’s actually very similar to use. To the people yeah awesome brand that is both cruelty-free and vegan. My favorite from them is the Probiotic Gel Moisturizer. This one’s awesome because similar to the coconut water cream, it’s very lightweight and amazing for oily skin because of the high concentration of the really good ingredients quailing a company.
SkinFix
I recently started falling in love with SkinFix, a really up-and-coming fragrance-free which I appreciate they are cruelty-free and most of their products are vegan although some of them include beeswax so if you’re opposed to beeswax.
Then make sure you look for that on the ingredient list but besides that, they’re all vegan their facial hydrating lotion is amazing. This is the moisturizer that really did come in and rescue my skin when I was going through a phase where my skin was just freaking out because of how many products I was using.
I need to talk about this product more I keep forgetting but yeah awesome lightweight moisturizer that really helps to soothe and repair the skin.
Kate Somerville
Kate Somerville is another luxury skincare brand that is cruelty-free. Some of their products are hit or miss for me but I’ve been discovering a lot of really good fragrances, and free high-quality products from their brand. My favorite one so far is their oil-free moisturizer. I mean it’s a bestseller really good one with good ingredients that you can be assured is guilty-free.
Inkey List
Finally, the Inkey List which I wouldn’t necessarily consider luxury. Awesome brand very similar to The Ordinary but kind of fills in the gaps that the ordinary can’t quite fill and my favorite product from them is their Q10 serum really good for reducing redness and sensitivity but also fighting off damage throughout the day.
Summary
So yeah those were all my favorite brands. I would highly recommend you guys check these out because out of all of these brands you have more than enough options for a skincare routine. I promise you if you’re someone who shops exclusively cruelty-free or vegan you have just from this list of hundreds of skincare products available. So happy shopping!
I wish you the best of luck now feel free to comment below if you know any other good cruelty-free brands obviously there are a ton of them out there but a lot of them are formulated with fragrance essential oils and other irritating ingredients that I like to avoid which is why I made this list that I did but some of you guys may have different standards than me so feel free to share more in the comment section.
